Application Protection

Web application firewall (WAF)

Web Application Security systems enable real-time identification and prevention of hacker attacks, including advanced persistent threats (APTs), injections, and XSS. A web application firewall (WAF) helps timely detect vulnerabilities in web applications (including zero-day vulnerabilities), and use virtual patches before and until official updates are released.

This way we protect our customers against DDoS attacks, log user activities to detect anomalies, and prevent data leakage. By inspecting HTTP/S traffic, a WAF can prevent web application attacks such as:

  • Cross-site scripting (XSS)
  • SQL injection
  • Cookie poisoning
  • Invalid input
  • Layer 7 DoS
  • Brute force and credential stuffing
  • Web scraping

Database activity monitoring, database firewall (DAM, DBF)

The solutions protect databases from internal and external threats through user behavior monitoring and analysis, identification of abnormal activities, fraudulent behavior and unauthorized actions in order to detect and prevent fraud and protect databases from hacker attacks.

The company can ensure inline connection of analysis devices, and thus entirely prevent any unwanted or dangerous traffic from reaching protected databases, or use an easier way with mirrored traffic control.

Benefits:

  • Privileged users monitoring
  • Risk and compliance — in tight integration with DLP and SIEM, the Database activity monitoring (DAM) allows you to extend the network controls and the security framework also to the databases and data stores
  • If the solutions are deployed off path, then there is no impact on the monitored network segments
