NGN took part in the International Conference on Fourth Industrial Revolution under the slogan “Industry 4.0- transition and capacity of GCC countries” held today, During which, Mr. AlAwadhi asserted on Oil Minister H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa statements during the inauguration of the conference, noting that oil companies of NOGA have already done serious thinking and work to develop human cadres, and keep up with the digital technological development to achieve the desired objectives of the oil projects that NOGA seeks in partnership with international companies to implement them during this period.
AlAwadhi went on noting that during this conference NGN showcased its best training tools through virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. He also pointed that these tools meet the Fourth Industrial Revolution and can be applied in any hazardous environment in a plant or facility, including manufacturing industries such as aluminum and iron.
AlAwadhi concluded by stressing the importance of using digital development to achieve progress, development, growth and economic diversification, raise efficiency and create greater value in various national production sectors, especially the oil and gas sector, and ensure capacity building for Bahrainis working in it.
