NGN International, a Bahraini IT systems integrator and security services provider is organizing an awareness event on “Email Authentication - The Blindspot” in collaboration with PowerDMARC.
The event is set to be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 10 AM to 5 PM (Bahrain Time), at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Manama.
The awareness event will include an introduction to DMARC which is an acronym for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance. As the name suggests, it authenticates emails to confirm whether it meets the verification standards and reports on the same. It aims to protect organizations’ domains from spoofing, phishing, and other cyber-attacks. It builds on the widely deployed email verification techniques, SPF (Sender Policy Framework), and DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail).
The event will bring together a group of elite cybersecurity experts from the NGN and PowerDMARC to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing email protection systems in Bahrain. How to enhance cybersecurity services, solutions, and applications. Furthermore, a live Demo and attack simulation will be demonstrated as a presentation of DMARC, DKIM Advanced Configuration /SPF & DKIM Alignment, and process.
Three panelists with extensive expertise in this field will be sharing their significant knowledge at the session; they are Mr. Ilya Leonov, CTO at NGN International, Mr. Maitham Al Lawati, Chief Executive Officer of PowerDMARC, and Ms. Ahona Rudra, Marketing Manager.
